Privacy Policy
How TraderMap handles information across iOS, iPadOS and tvOS.
Scope
This policy applies to TraderMap for iOS and iPadOS (bundle ID com.17class.TraderMap), TraderMapTV for tvOS (bundle ID com.17class.TraderMapTV), and this support website. Both apps follow the same data practices.
Data we do not request
TraderMap does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, payment information, wallet address, seed phrase or private key. The apps contain no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK or cross-app tracking technology.
Information kept on your device
The apps keep the following information locally so your settings and recent views work as expected. This information is not uploaded as a user profile.
- Language choice; sound and volume settings
- Selected symbols, alert thresholds and chart favorites
- A random app-scoped identifier used by a development-only prediction-data connection
- Short-lived cached market and content responses
Network processing
To provide live information, the apps connect to the configured TraderMap gateway and market/content providers. Like any internet service, those connections necessarily expose the IP address and may process request time, app user agent, selected language, requested endpoint and market filters. The current TraderMap gateway uses an IP address transiently for rate limiting and does not create user profiles from it.
Infrastructure providers may process limited connection logs for delivery, reliability and security under their own terms. Opening an original news article leaves TraderMap and is governed by that publisher's privacy policy. This website is hosted by GitHub Pages, so GitHub may process standard web request information under the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Purposes and sharing
Information is processed only to deliver requested market content, remember on-device preferences, protect service availability, diagnose failures and comply with law. TraderMap does not sell personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising. Service providers may process only what is necessary to operate the requested service and must provide protections consistent with this policy and applicable law.
Retention and your choices
On-device preferences remain until you change them, reset the relevant setting or remove the app. Cached responses are temporary and may be cleared by the app or operating system. Transient gateway rate-limit entries expire after approximately 60 seconds in the reference implementation. You may stop all app network processing by uninstalling the app or disconnecting it from the network.
- Delete the app to remove its local app data
- Use in-app controls to change language, filters, favorites and sound settings
- Contact support if you believe the service has information about you or you wish to exercise a legal privacy right
Children, transfers and security
TraderMap is a general market-information product and is not directed to children. Network providers may process information in countries other than your own. TraderMap uses HTTPS/WSS in production and applies reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when app features, service providers or law change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through the official support channel.
